Mr.Srinivas Venkatraghavan. One of The Indian Test Match Captains.
He is good bowler.He came to test matches at age of 20 and played against New Zealand.
He was become world class spinner when he took 12 wickets in Delhi Test matches and made India to win.He became one of the Indian Test Match Captains in 1975.He played very long innings in test carriers.He was an Umpire after his test carrier.He was Umpire for 73 Test matches and 52 ODI (One Day International) Matches.He is right hand batsman and right hand off spin bowler.He was Vice Captain toured West Indies and England in 1971.India won the series..He led the team to world cup in 1975and 1979  in 4 test series against England in 1979.He was Captain for South Zone Tamilnadu for more than a decade.He became cricket administrator after he retired from cricket in 1985.He was awarded Padma Shri by Indian Govt for his contribution to cricket.

He was started his First test match umpire carrier in JAN 1993 for India Vs England at Kolkata and last Test match was in JAN 2004. for South Africa Vs West Indies at Centuiron.for first ODI Umpire JAN 1993 for India Vs England at Jaipur.and last ODI as Umpire for Australia Vs New Zealand at Faridabad .
He was born on 21 April 1945 in Madras Tamilnadu.
